This Sunday, March 27th, Party Poker Quarter Million Guaranteed no-limit holdem tournament brought out 1,107 competitors to vie for a prize pool of $250,000. The final table is as follows:

Our 10th place finisher was Tipsyjoker. He pushed all-in with pocket fives and was called by Wezzo with A9o. The flop came 5-4-9 giving joker a huge advantage. Another nine came on the turn, improving him to a full house. But a four peeled off pairing the board and giving Wezzo the better full house, sending Tipsyjoker home with another $2,500 in his pocket.

Coming in 9th place was Juicy78, who went all in with AQ and was called by Qige5960 with KQ. The flop came KKQ, and the turn and river where blanks. Juicy78 collected $3,750 for their efforts.

Qige5960 continued his march by next taking out Sexyman5000, who pushed in with AQ and found himself as a huge underdog when qige called with AK. The turn and river were both kings, eliminating Sexyman5000 in 8th place. He collected $5,000.

Wezzo’s second victim at the final table was lordsack. lrodsack got all of his chips in the middle with A9o, a big dog to Wezzo’s AKo. The flop came Q-8-2, with the turn and river bricking off and sending lrodsack to the rail in 7th place, winning $7,500.

Rphmgj04 extremely short stacked, pushed all-in preflop with QJo, being called by lordhutty’s A9o. With the board reading 3-4-5-A-A, rphmgj04 was sent packing in 6th place with a prize of $10,000

Next up, nyako pushed with Q10 into lordhutty’s big blind. lordhutty called the last few chips of his off with K5o. Unfortunately for lordhutty, a queen came on the flop, eliminating lordhutty in 5th place. They collected $12,500 for their showing.

nyako would be the next to go broke, pushing all-in with 67s. He was called by qige5960 in the big blind with AJo. The board brought a pair of kings and fours, eliminating nyako in 4th. nyako collected $15,000.

qige5960’s luck ran out when he was pushed all-in with his AJs, getting called by SDS71 with A10o. The flop came 5-4-10 giving SDS the lead. The turn brought a Q which opened up some more outs for qige5960. But the final queen that came on the river sealed his fate. qige5960 collected $20,000 for 3rd place.

After almost an hour of heads-up action between Wezzo and SDS71, Wezzo finally took home first. He pushed in with K10o and was called by SDS171 with A8o. The flop came down 10-4-8 leaving SDS 3 outs. The turn brought no help and the river was dry, sending SDS71’s hopes of winning out the window. He took $29,250 for 2nd place, and the Champion, Wezzo, took home $52,500 for his victory.
